A number of cadets from Aleppo's Police Academy recounted the details of the attack on their bus by armed terrorists who abducted them at gunpoint and forced them to make statements relayed by Orient and al-Arabiya channels claiming that Academy members have defected.
Cadet Bassel Hussein said that while returning to the Academy following Eid al-Adha holiday, the bus transporting him and his colleagues was ambushed and they were abducted and led blindfoled to an unknown location, and later it was announced that they defected from the security forces and the army.
Hussein refuted these allegations on behalf of himself and his colleagues, saying that their ID cards were taken from them by force.
In turn, cadets Suhail Saad and Maher Issa said that the terrorists opened fire during the ambush on the bus, martyring Mazen Issa, Maher's brother, and wounding Saad and some of their colleagues, while others were abducted and filmed with the pretense that they're defectors.
